Meet the Doctor
Daniel Glimpse, D.C.
Dr. Glimpse fell in love with San Luis Obispo while attending Cal Poly, and vowed to return to the place that captured his heart. As luck would have it the opportunity presented itself, and he didn't give it a second thought. He’s practiced here in SLO since 2012.
Dr. Glimpse completed his undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry while pursuing many interests. He trained with the collegiate judo team (prolific national champions), volunteered with the International & National Voluntary Service Training Program (INVST), performed internationally with the renowned collegiate singers in the San Jose State Choraliers, and performed undergraduate genetic research as a MARC scholar and recipient of a National Institutes of Health research grant which afforded him the opportunity to present research findings at biomedical research conferences around the country. His background in research furthered by research experiences gained at Stanford University, Brown University, University of California San Francisco, and San Jose State University have provided a uniquely diverse background from which to draw upon in clinical practice. He went on to earn his doctorate at Palmer West and graduated Cum Laude.
A believer in life-long learning, Dr. Glimpse commits to continuous honing of clinical skills and knowledge by traveling widely to study new techniques and the most current evidence to ensure the gold standard of care is delivered.
A focus on community engagement and service grounds Dr. Glimpse. A graduate of Leadership SLO (Class 22), he is familiar with this community’s needs, and volunteers in his free time when he's not exploring local trails, training Brazilian jiu-jitsu, tossing a ball at the dog beach with his German Shepherd (Sam), or camping in some far-off place.
A love of travel and cultural exchange has taken him to many places which inspired him and his wife to host international students from all corners of the globe. They’ve hosted 9 different students for up to 2 years at a time, and are now expecting their own child in the spring of 2021.
Dr. Glimpse lives on the Central Coast with his wife Meagan (a music teacher), surrounded by close friends and family. He never misses weekly family dinners with local extended family, feeling that family and relationships are closest to his heart.
